This week I wanted to do a “currently/favorites” type of post for Five Things Friday. We’re halfway through a brand new month, but these are already on my list:
Scentsy Plug-in and ‘Fireside’ scent – I picked up a plugin warmer and a few scent cubes at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and I have had the same wax cube in my warmer since that night. That little bugger has staying power and it smells so good! I also picked up ‘Fireside’ which smells like fresh laundry and ‘Christmas Morning’ which smells exactly like Christmas morning!
Planner – Speaking of Hobby Lobby, I went for the sole purpose of buying a planner and got sidetracked into buying the Scentsy stuff. I ended up buying the Create 365 Happy Planner and the cutest stickers to go with it.
I’ve truly enjoyed going in and filling in my weekly events and seeing my schedule all laid out. I was considering getting a Day Designer or the cult classic Erin Condren, but this one has all the perks of an EC planner but way more budget-friendly! I love the stickers that I bought along with the planner and use them on all types of things including my work computer.
‘Work hard, Stay humble’ – Shay posted a water color wallpaper of this quote a while back and I’ve used it as my wallpaper for work since. I knew it was fate when the sticker pack I bought with my planner came with a ‘work hard and stay humble’ sticker! I immediately asked my manager if it would be okay if I put it on my corporate laptop as a bit of motivation and a way to tell it apart from the masses and she agreed. It brings a smile to my face looking down and seeing that everyday.
‘Everybody Rise‘ by Stephanie Clifford – Neely and Carly reviewed this book this summer and I recently added it to my Kindle library. My book club is on a bit of a hold as far as reading new books, and ‘Everybody Rise’ is the perfect light read. I suggest y’all check it out!
Kehlani & Charlie Puth “Hotline Bling” – I’ve spoken highly of Kehlani numerous times on this blog and you guys should know Charlie Puth from his summer smash “See You Again” with Wiz Khalifa. Well these two teamed up to cover Drake’s hit “Hotline Bling” and I love their version better than the original. Take a listen below and tell me what you think!
