The holiday season is quickly approaching and I plan on hosting a few shindigs at my place like I did last year. I’m sharing hosting responsibilities for Friendsgiving and Christmas cookie swap with one of my friends so I’m already getting my shopping list together. I have to make sure that I buy all the fixings for our favorite dishes, paper plates, plastic cutlery & cups, adult and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy with the delicious food. I was so worried about making sure that I had enough food for everyone last Friendsgiving that I forgot to buy one of the most important things, toilet paper! Imagine the shock on my face when it was an hour before the event and I realized I was down to my last roll of toilet paper. I ended up running to the store and getting back in time, but I know that Scott®1000 bath tissue would’ve come in handy then.
Living by myself has taught me that it’s better to buy certain things in bulk: top coat for my nail polish, makeup setting spray, makeup remover wipes, milk and toilet paper. I can’t rely on my parents to swing by the store on their way home and add my items to their list, but they do help out when it comes to my Sam’s Club® Membership. That family membership has saved me many times throughout the years and between the four of us it’s paid for itself many times over!
I made a beeline to the back of the store and it was there that was I was met with this glorious sight.
Thirty-six rolls (plus an extra 100 sheets so it’s like you’re getting another 3 rolls) for less than $25! That coupled with the $5 Ibotta rebate meant that I was bringing home 39 rolls for less than $20. You can’t beat that deal with a stick! I didn’t even grab a basket, I carried that bad boy all the way to the front and checked out.
Oh and that $5 Ibotta rebate is super easy to get, just follow these steps:
1. Download the Ibotta app on your phone
2. Under ‘Grocery’, find Sam’s Club
3. Find Scott®1000 $5 offer
4. Unlock rebate
5. Scan receipt and upload to Ibotta
6. Earn $5
How easy is that? Now none have a reason to run out of toilet paper any time soon. What about y’all? What’s something you absolutely cannot run out of?
