I’ve been seeing bodysuits like these pop up all over social media; I actually saw this exact one on my Instagram feed. One of the women that I follow styled the white one with some jeans and a blazer and I thought it was super cute! I didn’t hesitate when it came to swiping up and purchasing both colors available in my size because they were just that reasonable. I also shared the Instagram post and link with my girls because it was too good of a deal not to!
Then came the hard part. Actually getting up the nerve to style and wear the bodysuits. Actually, I had a few styling options in mind but it was getting the courage to wear them that was getting me. Body positive messages are everywhere, the #JustWearTheSuit and #HerBodyCan campaigns online, Lizzo and Chika getting their own billboards but I was still nervous. I love my curves, I promise I do but I was still nervous about wearing theseā¦until they came in and I tried them on.
BAY-BAY!
I felt so sexy in them and knew that I had to incorporate them into a photo shoot. Well, I ended up incorporating them into two of them. I shared some of my birthday pictures on here before, and I had on the white version under my chambray and tucked into my tulle skirt. In the next photoshoot it as front and center along with its black counterpart.
I was raised to celebrate my birthday all month, so I did a little staycation with one of my girls here in town at Hotel Alessandra, so of course we had to get some shots in this beautiful hotel! I brought both the black and white ones with me and I have to say that I’m really impressed with how well they photographed and how great I felt in them. Now I’m not going to share all of the pictures with y’all, but these were some of my favorite shots.
It’s true what they say, you can definitely be sexy at any size so go out there and flaunt those curves!
