This is a special episode of ‘Le Haute Paire’! It’s Halloween this week so I’m sharing some of my fun memories and why I’m still not a fan of scary movies, but I also get to interview a really awesome author/executive trainer/professor/global speaker/Wonder Woman!
Orobosa Owie is joining me for this episode and we’re talking about how it’s okay not to be okay, but that you shouldn’t stay that way. We dive deep into the topic of self-esteem and depression and how it’s still somewhat seen as taboo in our communities. We talk about how losing our mothers at young ages, and dealing with that grief has helped shape us into the women we are today. Orobosa also dropped some major gems and affirmations and I can’t wait for you guys to hear them. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and hit play! Oh, and please ignore the fact that I kept saying that Halloween is on Thursday instead of tomorrow, I hadn’t looked at a calendar in a few hours!
Be sure to buy her book when it drops in January 2019, check out her website at www.orobosaowie.com and you can also follow her on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter!
