I can’t believe I’m almost finished with the first course in my Construction Management specialization! This has been an interesting past few weeks and I’ve had to tap into old habits that I haven’t used in almost a decade, along with a few new ones I’ll be sharing with y’all today.
iPad – This makes it easy for me to watch my lectures and study just about anywhere! I’ve also started handwriting some notes and I’m able to do that on my iPad and keep them with my other notes.
OneNote – My old faithful! I’ve legit been using this since undergrad and didn’t want to change for these courses. I just created a new notebook and different sections for each course. I’m able to type and write notes in here!
Pencil – I didn’t want to shell out $100 for an Apple Pencil when I read the reviews and saw that this one works just as good! It has a pretty long battery life so I only have to charge it like every other week.
Wonder Boom Speaker – Honestly any external speaker will do, but this is the one I have and it helps amplify those lectures to a volume that’s easier for me to understand. Some of my professors speak very softly and even though I can follow their notes with the transcription sometimes I want to listen while I’m doing other things around the house and I’m able to bring this Bluetooth speaker with me in whatever room I’m in!
Now you don’t necessarily need these tools to study but they’ve definitely helped me!
