Just in case you missed last week’s post, I’m taking some Construction Management specialization courses from Columbia University for the next few months and that means that I’ll be hitting the books pretty hard. I’m talking at least 4-5 hours each week in addition to my regular workload, content creation schedule, and volunteer/advocacy work. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m not the type who likes to study in silence, in fact, I don’t like to do much in silence than sleep, but I don’t always want to listen to music with lyrics while I study.
Enter lofi music.
I actually created this playlist back in 2019 when I was in the thick of my Urban League board duties as sort of a background soundtrack while I created and scheduled content. Fast forward almost 2 years later and I’m using it for something completely different. The tracks are the perfect background noise for workdays, evenings spent reading on the couch, and more. Easy melodies and light hip-hop beats. Something you can nod along to that won’t distract you too much. Feel free to take a listen below and save it if you want, it’s over 60 hours of music so you don’t have to worry about hearing the same song twice for a few days!
