I’ve mentioned this on Instagram but we’re transitioning to working back in the office 75% of the time and I’ve been readjusting to walking my construction spaces, seeing other people regularly, and even little things like having fresh flowers around. My green thumb is non-existent so I don’t have plants at home, but we have orchids in the office and this last week I was given this gorgeous bouquet.
I’ve seen so many people become plant parents, but that isn’t my ministry. I don’t know if I’m over-watering, under-feeding plants, or what but I can’t seem to keep them alive for too long at home. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like looking at them. I have a few fake ones in my apartment, but our landscaping contract at work keeps us stocked with beautiful bouquets. Often times we think of foliage when it comes to Fall, but this bouquet was the perfect blend of autumnal blooms and colors. I was low-key tempted to swing by the store my co-worker went to and pick up another bouquet, but ultimately decided against it. Like I said, a green thumb isn’t my ministry. But what about y’all? Have you embraced all things green during this quarantine? Are you a plant parent now?
