A few weeks ago Spotify started doing their yearly wrap-ups for everyone. People were posting their generated genre graphs, clips showing the countries of origins for the artists they favored and even who had they played the most throughout the year.
I was one of those people.
In fact, I think it went back through the past decade and of course, Justin Timberlake was mine, but for some reason, only one of his solo songs and four *NSYNC songs made the list for my top 100 songs of 2019. I don’t even know how that happened, but I’m not mad at this playlist.
It has a little bit of everything on it; Beyonce, Todrick, Panic!, Lizzo, the Hamilton soundtrack and so much more. This was the year that I discovered Trevor Jackson and fell in love with Kevin Ross’ voice. I discovered lo-fi music and the healing and focusing properties it possesses, and of course, I showed some love to some old favorites. I feel like you can tell a lot about a person by the music they listen to, so I want to share my list with y’all. My final playlist of the year, of the decade. So take a listen below and let me know what you think!
