I’m back with another collaborative post for y’all! Many bloggers I know use their blog as a side gig, or as a passion project, but have you considered other business ventures? Today I’m going to share some other avenues you can use to make a living.
If you’re going to put your time and energy into building a business, then it’s a good idea to ensure that it’s got a reasonably strong chance of becoming successful. Alas, all too often people follow the latest trends, only to find that there’s too much competition. If it’s become such a popular business type that you’re reading about it in the papers every day, then, in all likelihood, it’s too late. A better option is to look to options that are more niche and unusual, such as the ones that we’ve outlined below.
Writing eBooks – Have you ever dreamed of becoming an author? Well actually, it doesn’t matter if you have or have not — when it comes to ebooks, it’s less about following a long-term ambition, more about tapping into the topics that people are reading about. Take a look at what’s selling on the Amazon Kindle Store, and see if you can come up with a similar work. You don’t need to be Shakespeare to turn a profit — actually, trying too hard might do more harm than good. Just write a good 10,000 words, which can take as little as a week, and get it out there at a cheap price. You might just find that you’re turning a passive profit before you know it.
Around Sports – It’s always a good idea to go where the people are gathering. The more people there are, the greater your chance of making money! It’s no secret that a lot of people enjoy sports. In fact, it’s better to say that people love sports! You can tap into this market by opening an account with payperhead247.com, and being a sports betting agent. Alternatively, you could set up a website that offers the latest tips, news, fantasy picks, and the like. If you know your stuff, then people will come to you.
One Specific Item – Amazon changed the game in more ways than one. It’s next to impossible to have a website that sells anything and everything, since you won’t be able to do it better than the giant can. But there is something you can do better: you can sell one specific item. Customers are slowly beginning to reject the big buy system, which lists too many options. They want curated quality. If there’s an item that you know well, then look at setting up an online store that sells online that. You’ll find that people come to you because they know you will sell them the best.
Alternative Medicines – We’re discovering more and more about what’s good for us, the oils and foods that can make us become the best version of ourselves. If you’ve been mixing and matching various herbs and oils for the health benefits, then share this knowledge with the world. CBD, for example, is an industry that’s expected to grow significantly in the years to come. Get on the ground floor now, and you’ll be there to reap the benefits of that and other oils.
