It’s no secret that I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve written numerous posts about the series and how it’s made a positive impact on my life. It’s not uncommon to hear me quote it and this past year I began re-reading the series with my oldest nephew. I know that there’s nothing like that first trip to Hogwarts, but seeing it through his eyes has me falling in love with the series all over again.
This past weekend USA had a Harry Potter weekend and that got me thinking about doing a gift guide that’s a bit different. I think that these gifts would be a great addition to a Harry Potter fan’s collection, or they might even serve as an introduction to one of the best series written!
Box Set – Fun fact, the only physical books I brought with me to my new apartment was my Harry Potter collection. I donated the rest of them without a second thought, but I couldn’t bring myself to part with these. If you’re the type who likes to feel the paper between your fingers while you read, then it wouldn’t hurt to have this collector’s set.
Audiobooks & eBooks – I have no problem rereading these books, but with my travel schedule and the space I have in my carry-on it’s not always feasible for me to carry a copy of book 7.
Tumbler – Depending on what’s in my cup, I can say that I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!
Phone case – I may not be able to wave a wand and do magic, but I’m sure there’s an app for half of the things I do on a daily basis so my phone is like my wand, right?
Cookbook – I’m trying to find the perfect recipe for butterbeer so I can have it without having to be at an orchestra screening or at Universal Studios.
Notebook – We might not be able to send letters with owls, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t use this cute notebook set.
Harry Potter Trivia Pursuit – Help your loved one brush up on their HP knowledge so that they can dominate at bars or on cruises!
Time to get on it, so accio gifts and get those stockings stuffed!
