Hey y’all! It’s been a while since I’ve been recognized for my blog, so I was shocked when I saw that I was nominated for a ‘Sunshine Blogger Award’! My girl Jordan nominated me (THANKS HUN!) and I was truly honored that someone not only takes the time out to read my little space of the internet but to recognize the hard work that goes into this. She had a few questions for me to answer so I’m going to do them below and then I wanted to share the wealth and recognize some of my other favorite bloggers who I think you should check out.
So let’s dive right into the questions!
What do you do to de-stress? I love to travel, so vacations often help me de-stress. I also love listening to music, and the perfect playlist can lift my mood instantly.
How has starting a blog changed you? I initially started this as an online diary of sorts, but it’s become so much more. It’s one of my favorite creative outlets, and I’ve met some pretty awesome people through blogging.
What do you love MOST about blogging? The community. Yeah, it has its ups and downs, but for the most part, it’s pretty awesome and there’s room for everyone. So many people are just trying to help others and I love that sense of sisterhood.
What’s your passion? Helping people. I’m a people person through and through and I want to make sure that I’m using my talents to help make this world better and leave it in a better state that I found it.
What do you want your readers to get from your blog? I want them to know that it’s okay to be different, they don’t necessarily have to follow societal norms to live their best life. Take risks, ruffle feathers and make sure your voice and opinions are heard!
If you could create your life from your dreams what would it look like? Honestly, I’m living it now.
What are some of your goals for 2018? I don’t want to retype a whole blog post, so check out this one here!
Onto the nominees! I wanted to nominate some bloggers who I recently started following in the past year but who are amazing at what they do:
Both of them are killing the game in blogging and vlogging and have been extremely helpful to me these past few months. Please check out their blogs when you get a free moment and go ahead and subscribe to them!
Now for the fun part! It’s time to put those ladies in the hot seat and ask a few questions of my own:
What made you start blogging?
What’s the biggest change you’ve noticed in yourself and in the industry since you’ve started blogging?
What’s social media platform do you prefer and why?
Would you still blog if it was no longer popular?
What do you want your readers to take away from your blog? (I took this one from Jordan because it’s a good one!)
