Remember when I said that I won some bundles a few weeks ago? Well I got them installed and I’m loving them so far. I knew that I wanted a change, that I wanted to wear my hair straight for a bit but didn’t necessarily want to straighten my hair so these are perfect! I won the bundles, but bought a closure thinking that I would need it and ended up not using it. I have a 1 in X 2 in portion of leave out and that’s the only part of my hair that I have to worry about getting any kind of possible heat damage. Now I know people who wear sew-ins often and with their help I was able to get the tools I needed to help me take care of my hair while it’s in this style. I even found a few other tips online to help me combat the humidity because my natural hair will poof up in a minute if it’s humid outside…which is all of the time in Houston.
I’m putting these products on a holiday gift guide because they make great stocking stuffers, but honestly they’re great to purchase year round! These combs and brushes are great to have at home as well as in your purse, you can never have too much dry shampoo, and I feel like a diffuser is a must for all Naturalistas but it will come in handy with making sure I get my braids dry as well as the bundles that are sewn onto them. Oh, and don’t get me started on this smoothing serum by Garnier, it single-handedly saved me from straightening my leave out every day. It does it’s job and keeps my hair straight even through all of this crazy weather we’ve had this past week.
What do y’all think? Would you mind seeing any of these products in your stockings this holiday season? Or do you plan on gifting them to anyone else?
