Case from here
I think it goes without saying that I love to travel, and thanks to T-Mobile’s international plan I’ve been able to use my phone on just about every vacation. Whether it’s looking up flights and checking in on them, booking a hotel or even sharing a photo I’m on my phone often and these are a few of my favorite apps I use while traveling. I’ve decided to break them down into categories to make things easier.
Communication: iMessage & WhatsApp – Both allow me to message (WhatsApp even allows me to call) people internationally for free. I’m able to message someone else with an iPhone for free and our conversation will have blue bubbles and if they don’t I use WhatsApp. Oh, and with WhatsApp I’m able to not only message but call people as well!
Reservations: Booking, AirBnB and HostelWorld – I use these for lodging when I travel. Nine times out of ten I have something booked before I leave home, so I’m mainly using the apps to manage my reservations.
Entertainment: Spotify & Netflix – Now that Netflix offers offline services I’m able to use both on my plane rides. *praise hand emoji*
Social Media: Hootsuite, Camera app, ColorStory, Instagram & Snapchat – Is it really a vacation if you don’t take and share your pictures?
Mingling – Google Translate & Tinder – The easiest way to meet and communicate with cute locals.
Transportation – Uber, CityMapper & Waze – It seems like these three are available just about everywhere!
Essentials – MobilePass & AppleWallet – I won TSA PreCheck from Orbitz last year so I’m able to breeze through TSA domestically and the free app MobilePass help me breeze through customs.
What apps do y’all use when you travel? Is there anything that I need to add to my list? Comment below or tweet me and let me know!
