I’m home! I actually got in last night and after dealing with United Airlines’ baggage services all I wanted to do was get home shower and go to sleep. After 19 hours of traveling I think that’s all anyone wants to do. Now for some reason my body adjusted back to my home time zone faster than I thought it would and I’m up an hour before my alarm so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite holiday playlists with y’all. I held off as long as I could, but seeing as Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah start this weekend (when’s the last time that’s happened) I figured now would be the best time to do it. So choose a genre below and go wild.
The four #Christmas playlists you need now. Share on X
Pop Christmas – I think I made this one last year. It’s Christmas staples covered by pop artists I love.
R&B Christmas – This one actually isn’t mine, but I stumbled across it I think last year and it’s full of holiday renditions I’d heard while growing up
Christmas as of Late – This is another playlist I created last year. These are holiday renditions and new tracks by today’s pop stars.
Christmas Mix – I feel like I’ve had this playlist as long as I’ve had Spotify and it just grows every year. This is my primary holiday playlist and any new (or cover) that I come across and love automatically gets added to this playlist before it gets sent anywhere else.
Now there’s obviously going to be a some duplicate tracks between the playlists, but that’s to be expected since it’s mostly Christmas music. It’s not the holidays until I’ve 3,657 covers of “The Christmas Song”.
I hope y’all are staying warm in this chilly weather and that you’re enjoying this holiday season with your loved ones, I know I am! Take a listen to the playlists and let me know if I’m missing any of your holiday favorites by commenting below or tweeting me!
