Today’s the day! I’ve been waiting for today since I purchased the flights back in July. I’m flying to EWR in a few hours and after a short layover I’ll be on my way to Paris. I have my loose itinerary, train ticket to and from London and all of my lodging booked. I want to hit as many touristy spots as I can so this is what I have on my list for the city of Love.
Eiffel Tower
Gardens Tuileries
Louvre
Pont des Arts Bridge
Galleria Lafayette (Opera House)
Sacre Coure
Arc d’Triumph
Champ d’Elysees
Notre Dame Cathedral
National Museum of Modern Age (Musee National du Moyen Age)
Pantheon
Versailles
I have two days (broken up, Thursday and Sunday) and I plan on making the most out of those days. Now London’s a different story, I’ll have two consecutive days in that wonderful town and I’ll be wandering the city by myself for a bit on Friday and exploring on Saturday with a friend. I have another loose itinerary, comprised of a few Pinterest searches and suggestions from my favorite Brit at work.
Westminster Abbey
London Eye
Kensington Palace
Parliament & Big Ben
Churchill War Rooms
Buckingham Palace
Harrods
Suffrages
Tower Bridge
Tower of London
Millennium Bridge
St. Paul’s Cathedral
Piccadilly Circus
Harry Potter (King’s Cross)
Monument
Carnaby Street (1960’s-esque shopping street)
Oxford Street (for Christmas lights)
Covent Garden (street entertainers)
Now what I need are restaurant and bar suggestions. If y’all have any please comment below or send me recommendations on Twitter.
