Fall’s here and that means Fall TV is back. I posted on Twitter and Facebook last week that my DVR is going to be working overtime and I meant it. I counted up the shows that I plan on checking out this season and it totaled up just over 20. Now some of these are favorites from seasons past, and some are brand new. I have a policy of giving a show at least two episodes before writing it off and this week will make episode two for most of the new shows. As of now, my DVR schedule looks like this:
Sunday:
- Once Upon a Time (I hope this season is better than last season)
- Quantico
Monday:
- Kevin Can Wait (I wasn’t too thrilled with the pilot, I might stop watching this one after this week)
- The Voice (I’ll probably stop watching this after the Blind Auditions)
Tuesday:
- Bull
- This is Us
- Atlanta
Wednesday:
- Blindspot
- SVU
- Chicago PD
- Black-ish
- Empire
- Queen Sugar
- Younger
- Designated Survivor
- Lethal Weapon
Thursday:
- The Blacklist
- How to get Away with Murder
- Notorious
- Pitch
- The Good Place
Friday:
- MacGyver (This one was another pilot that didn’t really wow me. I like that I recognized a lot of the main cast members, but if this show doesn’t get better I’m gonna stop watching it)
So I know this looks like a lot, especially with my sleep schedule. I can’t watch everything every night so I typically catch a show during my lunch break and my weekends are catch up days. Plus, I can already tell that there are going to be too many storylines for me to follow so I’m weeding out shows that I will binge watch once the season is over. Hulu and Netflix for the win! So what about y’all? Are you happy that Fall television is back? Are there any shows you’re particularly excited about? Comment below or tweet me and let me know!
