As you guys know I’m a recent convert to all things Apple. I prefer to have the same operating systems for all of my gadgets so when I made the decision to buy an iPhone 2 years ago I traded in my Galaxy tablet for an iPad. I had a pretty big Galaxy tablet and honestly got tired of carrying it around in my backpack so I made the decision to go smaller. I just needed something that I could throw in my purse to scroll through my social media accounts, check emails and take a few notes for work and this blog, and the iPad mini was just what the doctor ordered. I walked out of the store that day with a black iPad mini 3 happy as a kid in the candy store. It was perfect! Thanks to T-Mobile I had a data plan so I could get online whenever I felt like it, and I brought that thing with me everywhere. I even brought it along for my international vacations because T-Mobile’s international plans are the best in my opinion.
Fast forward two years and one upgrade later. I upgraded my black iPad mini 3 to gold mini 4 this year and with the upgrade came a need for a new case. I’d previously purchased a pink and white polka dot one from Amazon and even got a separate bluetooth keyboard to make emailing and note taking easier, but my new iPad was sized a bit differently than my old one. I decided that the case for my new iPad would have to include a bluetooth keyboard in it after I saw a friend’s and realized how much easier it was to travel with a keyboard already built into the carrying case. I also knew that I wanted a gold one to match my phone and iPad and it had to be durable. Well this case met every criteria.
I was recently given an opportunity to review this iPad mini case for my honest and unbiased review and I have to say that I probably would’ve bought it even if I wasn’t chosen. It’s the perfect size and the best of both worlds! The keyboard’s actually held in place by magnets so I can move and remove it if I want! My iPad fits snuggly in place and another great thing about it is that the keyboard is rechargeable! It comes with a charging cable that I can plug into the same wall adaptor I use to charge my iPad. I brought my case with me when I traveled to Vancouver recently instead of bring my Macbook and this case (and keyboard) made it so easy for me to research restaurants and tourist spots. I look forward to using it at work and on my weekly visits to my local coffee shop.
I’ve seen bloggers practically live on their iPads on Instagram and Twitter. If you have one, what kind of case do you have? And do you use a bluetooth keyboard with it so that you don’t have to use the screen’s keypad? Comment below and let me know!
[…] iPad Mini & keyboard case – I use this little baby everyday, but it really comes in handy for long flights and for catching up on my blogs and doing some light reading when I’m up before everyone in the mornings. Plus the keyboard case allows me to check emails and browse my social media accounts so much easier. […]
