I haven’t done a post like this months!! This week has been crazy busy but I wanted to share a few things with y’all this evening.
10 Black men are asked their opinions on Black women: I saw this video and beamed. With all that’s going on now sometimes it’s nice to just hear that you’re appreciated.
Day Designer: I used to not be able to start a semester without a new planner and now that I’ve transitioned into the school year, but now feel like I need this planner for my life in general. Whitney English teamed up with Target to mass produce the Day Designer and I have my eyes on this bad boy.
Straight Outta Compton: I need to see this movie this weekend. I actually had passes to see a screening of it earlier this week and wasn’t able to make it, but I’m making plans to do so this weekend.
Birthday Love: My family, friends and co-workers really made my birthday special. I actually planned on doing a full recap (I’ve shared tons on pictures on Instagram), but for the moment I want to share a picture of the beautiful wreath one of my co-workers made for me.

I really want to see Straight Outta Compton. I always joke about the fact that my grandmother was born there and that I'm totally "from the hood." People say that I'm not allowed to say that if I'm going to say the word "totally."
