I made the decision a few months ago that I wanted to get my act together health-wise and started looking into fitness trackers, Weight Watchers and a good pair of running shoes (I’m still narrowing down some options for those). I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of fitness trackers currently in the market, and did some research before I found the one that I think would best work for me.
I knew that I wanted to keep track of my steps, but I also wanted to keep track of calories burned and my sleeping habits. I’m still on the sleep schedule that I started doing at the beginning of the year and it’s been working well for me thus far, so I wanted to keep it up. I ended up choosing the Pivotal Tracker by Pivotal Living and I love it!
It’s light, easy to use and the price point was perfect…in fact the band was free! That’s something that I loved about the company. The $12 you pay (not including $3 for shipping) is for the use of the app! Yeah, you read that correctly, the fitness tracker costs $15! The app is very user friendly, I can easily set goals, a morning alarm and I’ve even gotten 2 friends on board and added them as “friends” on the app. We have to keep each other accountable.
Another thing that I love about the app is that I can constantly change my goals. I’m great with small goals so the first two weeks I made sure that I had at least 10k steps, at least an hour and forty minutes of activity, eighty ounces of water and a thousand calories burned each day and for the most part I hit that goal! Every two weeks I would then up each goal, and not only would I be held accountable by the app but by my friends as well.
I think this is going to be a great tool for me to use on my weight loss journey and if I continue to like it I’ll renew my membership next year for another $12 and they’ll send me the latest band. I think this is a great investment for those of you who are looking to get your health back on track, but aren’t ready to shell out hundreds of dollars for a fitness tracker. Give it a go! I got mine on Amazon and with my Prime account I was able to get free 2-day shipping!
This is not a sponsored post, I paid for the product myself and am giving an honest review.
