Like most naturalistas I’ve gone through the product junkie phase. I had multiple hair puddings, leave-ins, shampoos, conditioners, etc. I had so many products that I didn’t even know what all of them did. I’ve dealt with a dry scalp and dandruff before and I used Head & Shoulders quite a bit when I used to get relaxers, but I wasn’t sure if the products would work when I decided to go natural. I was extremely excited when I was contacted to review Head & Shoulder’s Moisture Care Collection.
It’s a brand that I know and trust and this new line seems like it caters directly to my need to keep my curls soft and moisturized.
I usually wash my hair once a week and I co-wash more than I do an actual shampoo wash, so the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care Co-Wash was calling my name as soon as I opened the box. Full-sized samples of their 2-in-1 (great for my summer swim sessions), a co-wash and scalp serum that cools and soothes. I was sold!
I lovea good co-wash and was thoroughly impressed. I followed that up with the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care Scalp Soother to help with the itchy scalp I usually get a few days after washing. Not only does it work really well, but it smells so good! I’m so happy that more brands are throwing their hats into the natural hair ring, especially brands I know and love like Head & Shoulders.
