Another weekend, another graduation; this time it was my baby brother. We woke up bright and early on Saturday morning and headed to the north side of town to watch this guy graduate.
I am so proud of Torrin, he’s done so well in school and this fall he’ll be headed to the Navy. The ceremony wasn’t long, but I did manage to snap a few selfies with the kiddos while we cheered on their “Uncle Torrin”.
Since the graduation was in the morning we decided to switched up our tradition and grab brunch instead of lunch. Apparently we weren’t the only ones with that bright decision, everywhere we called for a table for 15 people was booked so I turned to one of my favorite apps, OpenTable. I’ve been using their services for a while and they didn’t let me down on Saturday morning. It’s so easy and that’s perfect when it came to my family.
We were able to narrow down our choices by cuisine, price range and location and were able to make a reservation right there on the app. No more sending a car ahead of the crew to go put our names on a list, no more waiting. It was perfect! They even have the option of paying within the app now!
It’s not as widespread yet, but it will be. I used the iOS app on Saturday, but you can always use the website if you’d like. I recommend it, especially in instances like Saturday. Have you checked out OpenTable yet?

I didn't know Open Table has an app. I've just used the website.
