One of my co-workers got married a almost two weeks ago and a few of us from the office went in support of her and her new husband. The ceremony was beautiful, she looked gorgeous and you could feel the love in the room!
We had a bit of time between the ceremony and the reception so the three of us swung by a bar near the reception hall for a quick beer, but we actually didn’t need to…Crystal had kegs at the reception! I call that a win.
Wedding speeches always make me cry and that night was no different. Her brother in law said something about love that brought me to tears, he said “Love isn’t perfect. It isn’t a fairytale or a storybook and it doesn’t come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing adversity, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define, and impossible to live without. Love is work, but most of all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second of it was worth it because you did it together”. Well you could definitely see it that day. And they had the cutest guest book!
I don’t know about y’all, but I love weddings! Crystal actually just got back from her honeymoon and gave me permission to write about and post pictures of the event. We should even have professional shots soon!
