I know it feels like I’m holding off on my cruise recap, and in all honesty I am. I really want to save it for Monday so I’ll share a few of my favorite things with y’all today. And yes, I was totally thinking of the song when I figured out today’s prompt.
These are a few of my favorite things…
…the perfect nude lipstick for me (Revlon’s Super Lustruous in Pink Cognito) and pairing it with one of my favorite light pink glosses from MAC.
…the Texican breakfast burrito from HighTower Deli. How have I gone my entire life without sliced avocados on a breakfast taco/burrito?
…Canva. It’s like PicMonkey, but slightly better. I’ve used the site to design a few graphics at work and it’s perfect for my team since we’re so indecisive when it comes to posters. I can always go back and edit on the site, even days later. Your drafts are saved and that’s a perk that I love. Are you listening, PicMonkey? They also offer free and paid templates, I’ve used a few to design invites and blog graphics. In fact, the graphic I’m using for this post was made on there.
…the yellow phone case I have on my phone. I don’t know what it is, but seeing that bright case on my white phone makes me smile and brightens my day.
…vendors who spoil us. We have quite a few of our vendors in town this week for various meetings and events and it’s always nice to be treated to meals and given all kinds of free swag. I’ve been meaning to buy coasters for about a year now and I no longer have to do that since Syska gave me a beautiful set of 4 glass ones yesterday.
…planning vacations. Oh, and going on them too. I’m already planning my next cruise; Jamaica this November!! I’m also planning my Christmas vacation to Paris for next year.
…getting lost in a good book. When I got home yesterday I spent an hour on my couch with a mellow playlist playing softly and devouring a few chapters of the latest Sylvia Day book.
…the Microsoft Outlook app for iOS. Oh my gosh, this app changed the game for me. I absolutely love it.
…getting back from a vacation and being genuinely missed by co-workers. The hugs and fist-bumps haven’t stopped.
