So I just want to start by saying I am so grateful for my life. I mean, I am blessed beyond measure. I have a roof over my head, food on the table, a job to pay all the bills and I have friends and family that love me. Yet sometimes I am completely over my life. I’ve gotten into a routine and although it’s good to have a routine, I have felt stifled for the past few months.
So I have decided to go on a journey to find things that give me life J It is so important to feel that your life is worth living and to do things that make you happy. So I have compiled a list of things that I have always wanted to do and things I’ve done, but want to do more.
1. Try something new once a month.
I have always wanted to go horseback riding and don’t know why I never have. It’s like I’ve been waiting on the opportunity to come up, but lets be honest I can make a few calls and find a man with a horse J lol
2. Have a true spa day.
I’m talking massages, waxing, nails, hair, facials, THE WORKS!!
3. Create something.
I have always been creative, but not very active to applying my creativity. I think I may design a dress and get it made so I can see my creativity come to life.
4. Take a dance class.
I am NO dancer. And I don’t see myself as a sensual person. But I’d love to try something like salsa dancing. I think it would be so much fun and make me feel muy caliente J.
5. Travel more.
I have traveled a few places in the states: Michigan, Hawaii, Caribbean, Florida, California, Ohio, Nevada and a few more places close to Texas (my home state). But I have wanted to do traveling out of the county. I have plans to go to Canada with Le Haut Jaz for OVO fest this year J. And my best friend Katie just moved to Japan with her husband (for his work) so I plan to go visit in 2016.
When I focus on the things on this list I immediately get happy. Now it’s just about putting it into action. What about you guys? What would your list be?
