I love Revlon’s PhotoReady liquid foundation. I love the coverage and how light it is, and I love the price point for it. I pair it with the ‘Nearly Naked’ powder and I’m good to go. Well I ran out of my PhotoReady last week and held off on buying another bottle until Monday and boy was I in for a shock when I got home.
It didn’t register to me to read the bottle all the way while I was at the store, so when I got home and noticed that the coloring was a bit off and it had specks of sparkle in it my jaw dropped. Don’t let the picture above fool you, the new Airbrush Effect is actually darker than the old formula. It also seems like the new formula oxidizes. That’s fine with me because it actually agrees with my undertones, but I’ve read reviews from other women and they do not like that. I personally haven’t seen the sparkling effect in real life, I read that it’s only a subtle shimmer when you’re out in sunlight.
Great, so now I’m going to look like a Cullen during the summer.
I’m still on the fence about this one. I like it so far, but due to all the rain this week I haven’t worn it out in the sun. The formula also seems a bit whipped…I don’t know, that might just be me. Now I’m no makeup expert, but I know what I like and what I’m used to, and Revlon has thrown me for a loop with this “new” formula. I know that this is a HG foundation for many bloggers, have any of y’all tried the new formula? If so, what do you think?

That's no good. I hate when my favorite products change even slightly.
