So today’s a bit of a two-fold. It’s Christmas Eve, but it’s also one of my best friends’ birthday.

We celebrated on Sunday with dinner at Prego, but today’s the actual day and I wanted to show her some love on my blog.
Gotta love that good ‘ol throwback to our high school graduation.
I love this little lady and couldn’t imagine my life without her in it. I hope you have the best of the best birthdays, Meg and and that you eat cake with your pizza for breakfast!!!
Oh! I was on my way to work this morning when I saw the following at the train station.
I love this time of the year, it really brings out the best in people. I bought a tenant’s breakfast last week and didn’t even think about it until this morning when it dawned on me that it was a random act of kindness. I was floored when I opened the envelope and saw the gorgeous card (it’s so glittery!!) and was even more shocked when I saw the $20 bill inside. Thank you Santa’s Helper! I’ll definitely pay it forward when I go to Starbucks today.
It’s the day before Christmas and we all know what that means, time to follow Santa around the globe while he drops off gifts and watch ‘A Christmas Story’ on TBS (or is it TNT) this evening and all day tomorrow. I’m gonna curl up on the couch with one of the Christmas mugs I got last year (since both of the monogrammed ones I ordered from Target were cracked due to poor packaging) and enjoy this long weekend.
