I was reading my daily feed of blogs when I came across this tag on A Brilliant Brunette. I read all of her answers and knew that I had to do the tag myself.
So, here we go!
1. Favorite candle scent? I usually go for the Stress Relief candle from Bath & Body Works, or something like it, but as of late I’ve really been loving their Mahogany Teakwood & Flannel scents. They smell like a man!
2. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate? Coffee, always coffee.
3. What’s the best fall memory you have? This might sound really Southern, but Friday night football games in high school and college. I miss them, miss marching in them and watching them from the stands.
4. Which makeup trend do you prefer? I’m really into the thick eyebrow trend that people have been embracing. I remember the days of the uber thin brows and I’m happy that people are no longer doing them.
5. Best fragrance for fall? I don’t wear perfume often, I tend to stick with a body mist and I favor Cashmere Glow by BBW year round.
6. Favorite Thanksgiving food? It’s a tie between potato salad and broccoli cheese rice casserole.
7. What is autumn weather like where you live?Here in Houston we get hot and not so hot. We’re currently experiencing a cold snap, and this week it’s been pretty comfortable in the 40s and 50s
8. Most worn sweater? It used to be a split cowl-neck one my step-mom got me years ago, but as of late it’s my navy monogram pullover. That counts as a sweater, right?
9. Must-have nail polish for fall? A mushroom-y taupe, like ‘You don’t know Jacques’ by OPI. Or a deep vampy color like ‘Lincoln Park after Dark’ by OPI. I love colors like that for fall.
10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?Football games!!
11. Skinny jeans or leggings? Both!
12. Combat boots or Uggs? Neither?? I like riding boots.
13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype? Yes. You can call me “basic” if you want, but PSLs are everything!
15. What song really gets you into the fall spirit? I guess you could say Taylor Phelan’s cover of “Sweater Weather”.
