Another week is finished and I’m sitting at home with my friend Kam who’s visiting me from out of town. This week has flown by so quickly and I actually need to get out of the house at some point this morning, but I wanted to share a few things with y’all.
1. The weather this week has been absolutely terrible. It’s been raining all week, like flooding in various parts of Houston. That’s great when I want to get some really good sleep,but not when I need to finish project closeouts.
2. Amazon Prime Video has the 5th season of ‘The Good Wife’!!! I found this out on Wednesday and am currently binge watching this season before season 6 debuts on Sunday. I’m about halfway finished now!!

Kam showed me this video this morning and I loved it!!! How cute is this!?! Especially the “Y” for “yeah man”.
4. I got a new laptop and I’m so happy!!! I’ve had my netbook since like 2009 and I needed more space, more RAM and I wanted something bigger. I ended up getting a Dell and it’s so much bigger than my netbook! I have a wireless mouse and keyboard that I bought for my other computer, and I’ll definitely be using it with this computer.
5. I love my co-workers and we had so much fun last night! Marc joined us for “book club” and he’s now been invited to all of the ones we have in the future.
I have a date this evening and Kam and I are supposed to get out and do stuff this weekend so I need this weather to cooperate. What are y’all up to this weekend?
