Today’s prompt actually made me think of one of my favorite songs by Robin Thicke, something that’s way better than his new album. He released it when he still had his long flowing locks and when he just went by his surname “Thicke”.
I loved him back then (his voice has always been like buttah to me) and didn’t think he’d grow to be this guy:
He’s a hot one.
Anywho, now that I’ve gone off on a tangent I can tell y’all what I like to do when I’m alone. I actually liveby myself so I get quite a bit of alone time and I love it! It’s been over a year, but the novelty still hasn’t worn off so I still get excited about the little things like:
…not wearing pants (or a bra) when I’m alone at home.
…changing into a comfy pair of glasses. I have 15 pairs of glasses and some are more comfortable than others. I personally love to come home and put on my big red glasses.
…sing and dance like no one is watching, which is because no one is! There’s a Spotify app on my Roku and I have that running a lot when I’m at home and not watching TV. I’m not a fan of complete silence, I at least need some kind of white noise going on in the background so its nice to have that app available on my phone. I used to dock my iPod, but I really don’t need to do that anymore.
…eat bowls of cereal in the middle of the night. I like cereal, just not always for breakfast. Sometimes, especially weekends, I take naps later in the day so I’m up later at night and instead of me making dinner at 11pm or midnight I’ll go and fix myself a bowl of cereal.
…lay diagonally across my bed. This is definitely a perk of being single. I don’t have to share my bed with anyone so I get to sleep how I want to. When I had my California King bed I would lay across it horizontally and wouldn’t even be hanging off. That’s changed a bit since I downsized to a Queen.
…sit in the middle of the living room floor and read. If I’ve had a particularly hard day I’ll come home and get comfy and put on a soft playlist, grab a glass of wine and sit in the middle of my living room with my Kindle. I have to limit myself as far in the book I’ll let myself go that night, or I’ll sit that way for hours. It’s quite relaxing.
…or I’ll just go sit out on my patio (which overlooks the pool) and read with a glass of wine.

I loveeeee Robin Thicke, I was kinda disappointed by his new album though. Towards the end I felt like I was listening to a Michael Buble album.
