BEiJ: Stranded on a deserted island with Man Crates

What would you do if you were suddenly stranded on a deserted island? What are 5 things you’d absolutely need to have with you? Hmm??
Last week I was contacted by Man Crates and asked if I wanted to participate in their “Desert Island survival kit” challenge. I’d never heard of the company before, but after checking out their site and products I knew I had to participate in this challenge.
First of all, where has Man Crates been all of my life?! I’m not the best with coming up with creative gifts for people, especially guys. I’m not a gamer or much of a techie and it’s not like I can just go on Pinterest and see what a guy has pinned to see what’s he’s pining for. Man Crates solves that mystery for me.
They have so many great box options to choose from, box sets for the gamer, sports enthusiast, outdoorsman, and carnivore in your life! I can’t tell you how this would save my behind. I’ve given out quite a few ties and pairs of socks in my day, but no more. They have a crate for bacon enthusiasts!
It would be perfectly okay if I got this for myself, right? I hope so! Another thing that makes this really cool is that these sets come in actual crates and ammo boxes. Man Crates even includes a crow bar to open your crate with. They’ve seriously thought of everything.
I was asked to create the perfect survival kit for myself if I was stranded on a deserted island and this is what I chose:
1. My Kindle – not, the type you would use for a fire. If I’m stranded I’m going to need some entertainment and what better form than a good book. I could spend days reading a good book and if I bring my Kindle I’ll have entertainment for weeks.
2. Spotify (and by default a power source and internet connection) – I need music to survive and my favorite way of listening now is via Spotify.
3. The Bacon Man Crate – hey, I can order one for myself right?
4. Wine – I have to have something to go with all that bacon.
5. Nail care products – I can’t have unkempt nails when I get rescued from this deserted island and what girl doesn’t want to have pretty toes and hands while she’s swimming in the beautiful clear ocean water?
