I wasn’t sure who I wanted to interview for today’s post, but then it hit me. My cousin Tavaria would be perfect for this kind of thing. Out of what feels like the million cousins I have, she’s one of my favorites and this is the perfect opportunity to pick her brain.
1. What’s your favorite TV show?
Her current favorite show is OITNB because it’s humorous. She likes the fact that the cast is very diverse and it’s entertaining.
2. Name someone you admire.
She admires her friend Rosa, who’s kind of like her mentor. She’s educated, working in her desired career and world traveler.
3. Who is Canada’s prime minister?
“I live in the United States. Get Drake on the phone and ask him.”
4. Do you prefer cake or pie?
It really depends on what kind of cake/pie.
5. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Okra, cooked any way.
6. What’s your favorite memory with me?
When I got chased by a duck at Hermann Park when we were younger. (The duck caught up to me and bit my behind)

“My mom always told me red panties are Satan panties.” – Miss Congeniality.

Nope

Someone digging in their butt in public.

Blue

“K”, she was off by one letter. It’s “L”
12. If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life what would it be?
‘The Blind Side’ (she said this without hesitation)
13. Who would rather have give you a self-help speech, Tyrese or Stevie J? And why?
“F**k, Stevie J. He’s more interesting, seems more realistic.” (I’m cracking up at this by the way)
14. Can you recite the pledge to the Texas flag?
“The Texas flag has a pledge? No one says that anymore.” (I told it to her and she said “that’s it?” Lol! It is pretty short.)
