Going through an entire day without listening to music.
(I keep Spotify playing when I’m at work and at home on weekends. Music keeps me sane.)
Turning down a vacation, or a chance to travel period.
Being ungrateful for the little nuggets in my life.
(I’m not a mother, nor do I plan to be for quite a while, but it’s nice to be an aunt to some of the most amazing nieces and nephews.)
Saying no to a live concert.
(The only thing that’s better than listening to music is seeing it live.)
Not enjoying sunbathing with a good book.
Going back to relaxers.
(Don’t get me wrong, every now and then I might straighten my hair, but I’m not going back to perms. I love my curls and plan on keeping those chemicals out of my head.)
Becoming a vegetarian.
(I like bacon and chicken too much. #SorryNotSorry)
Turning down a glass of wine at the end of a long day.
Not fighting for those that I love. #Framily
Turning away from what makes my city and state the greatest in the world.
Sleeping in past 8am.
(My body clock wakes me up between 6am & 7am on weekends and 4:45am during the weekday. I have to be sick or have partied too hard the night before to sleep past 8am.)
Saying no to a new bottle of nail polish.
Not be happy with the decisions I’ve made in my life thus far.
(It’s not perfect, but I choose to live my life with no regrets and start every day with a smile.)
