My dad has been telling me for about a year that I need to invest in a pair of rain boots. We don’t get much snow in Houston, in fact it doesn’t really get that cold but we get rain. A lot of rain. Hurricane season has just started and it’s been predicted that as usual this is going to be a really rainy one. We had a week of rain last week and these rain boots came in just in time.
I have big calves and so it’s a bit hard finding boots that work for me. The two pair of winter boots that I have have zippers and that works so well for me. I was able to get this pair on Amazon and I love them! The first time I put them on I actually had the help of a co-worker (just to see if they would fit) and when I put them on on Wednesday morning I wore tights and they slid right on! They short rain boots, but that’s okay. They’re tall enough for me to jump in puddles like I’m 3 years old again and please believe I walked through every puddle I could that morning.
We certainly do get a lot of rain here in Houston, especially lately. Rain boots sound like a ton of fun, reminds me of my childhood in east Texas where rain boots were a MUST.

I live in California where it rains approximately 1 day per year. I love the idea of rain boots, but could never justify buying them.
