Vee got in Taystee’s head like she did when Taystee was younger and knew that she had to get rid of anything that would stand in the way of keeping Taystee loyal to her. That meant isolating Poussey out and even going as far as getting her beat up.
It took a few episodes and even a stabbing of the wrong person to get Vee’s underlings to see the wrong in their ways.
She should’ve worn her glasses and Vee would’ve been gone earlier in the season.
This is by no means a full recap of the season, just a few of my favorite parts. Like I said, I really like the Poussey/Taystee storyline but I did appreciate some others.
Honorable Mentions:
Alex telling Piper to perjure herself on the stand and then not following her own advice.
Morello’s storyline – she’s not engaged! She’s a deranged stalker. Poor baby.
Who just so happened to land in prison because she was committing mail fraud.
Rosa’s back-story being a bank robber and “the curse”.
…even her last heist.
Sister’s prideful ways that landed her in prison and ex-communicated from the Catholic church.
Pennsatucky got new teeth…and no one noticed.
And last but not least Larry and Polly falling for each other! What?! Who saw that coming?
I plan on re-watching the season, pacing myself this time and seeing if I missed anything the first time.
I can’t wait for season 3, I saw that they’re already filming that!
