The title of this post makes me think of Beyonce’s album…even though they’re not the same number. It was one of my favorite albums by her. Actually she’s #1 on today’s list.
1. The ‘On the Run’ tour started this week and my Instagram feed has already been taken over by pictures and videos from the show.
And apparently the set list from the first show included 42 songs! Sheesh! Now I’m sure they didn’t perform the full version of all the songs, but either way that’s gonna be a long show!
I can’t wait to go next month!
2. I have some of the best friends ever. It’s really nice to know that I can just shoot an email or text out and my girls can pick up tone and know that I need them.
3. This kind of ties into to the previous one. I posted a pretty cryptic post yesterday and was freaking out for the better part of the day before having some serious talks with some of my co-workers and loved ones. My friend Megan made a very valid point last night on the phone and I think I’m going to take this sudden change as an opportunity to move my career timetable up a bit and apply for my ideal career pretty soon. Wish me luck you guys, this is going to be fun.
4. I love riding home with one of my co-workers, I always hear songs that I haven’t heard in a while and I heard these two tracks last week that made me think of my childhood and my mom.
5. And speaking of music, another co-worker and I were having a Sister Act moment yesterday and practically sang all the songs from the movies. I checked on Spotify to see if they had any tracks from the movies on there and couldn’t find any so of course my search turned to Youtube. It was then that I found out that there was a soundtrack for Sister Act II with full studio recordings of some of my favorite songs on there.
I know this isn’t a #ThrowbackThursday, but you’re welcome.
