Tuneage Tuesday: When a song isn’t titled what you think it is.
So I was riding in the car with a co-worker yesterday on the way to Pappasito’s to grab lunch (Cinco de Mayo celebration) when I heard this old song by Michael Jackson. It was one that I loved growing up and knew every word to the song…just not the name of it. I could’ve sworn up and down that it was called “Heartbreak Hotel”, but boy was I wrong.
Apparently the name of the song is “This Place Hotel aka Heart Break Hotel”.
What?! When do they say “this place hotel”? MJ repeated says “this is Heartbreak Hotel” and even throws in “this place is Heartbreak Hotel”…but “this place hotel“?
Either way, the song jams and I think all of you guys should take a listen!
