My friend Ryan sent me a picture of this pillow and I think it screams ‘Jazmyn’! It’s like the perfect combo of two of my favorite things, one of my favorite shades of blue and glasses! She snagged it for me and I’ll get it from her when I see her this week!
I had two of my cousins over last weekend and we really had a good time. We spent most of the weekend at the pool and even had a cookout on Sunday! We had dinner at Salt Grass on Saturday night and I had the most delicious alcoholic drink, their Texas Tea.
It was so sweet and I couldn’t really taste the alcohol. Normally I’d be worried about that, but then I found out that I couldn’t really taste the alcohol because there wasn’t much in it. I was shocked when my cousins and friend humored me at dinner and actually went along with the “no cell phones” during the meal. We took a few breaks and snapped pictures, and my cousin Tasha ended up losing our bet (and buying Tavaria and I breakfast at Chipotle the next day) by picking up her phone first.
Sunday morning was kind of lazy for us, we didn’t start moving around until around 10AM and I even used my blender (that I’ve had for over a year) for the first time. I made us Seattle’s Best frozen mocha coffees.
We picked up some grilling necessities from Kroger and spent most of the day out by the pool swimming and grilling…well Tavaria did. My other cousins and friend even came by to hang out with us. All in all a pretty good weekend.
Then the stress of these Beyonce’ & Jay-Z concert tickets came. Sheesh!
Do any of y’all plan on seeing them this tour? It looks like they’re only doing baseball stadiums so unless I fork over $400 I’ll have to look at the screen anyway. I’m totally okay with sitting in the 200s or 300s section.
I’m also loving the *NSYNC, more like Justin Timberlake love that always shows up at the end of April in the form of “It’s Gonna be May” posts. It seems like every year this picture makes its rounds on all the social media sites, and I couldn’t be more proud to be an *NSYNC fan.
Then I saw a few other ones pop up.
Even President Obama jumped on the bandwagon.
Gotta love Justin and his Southern Twang! All of those posts made me think of my favorite rendition of that song, the jazzy version they performed on the FOX *NTIMATE Holiday Special.
