Five on Friday: You know I had to do it for you…


Linking up again for Five on Friday, but this week will be a bit different.  This week will be about Drake and Drake only.

[1]  On Tuesday Drake dropped a new song, “Draft Day”.  



In it he referenced a few people, notably Johnny (Football) Manziel and Jennifer Lawrence.  I love that he used a Lauryn Hill sample and it was nice to hear some new music from him.  It wasn’t long that a friend of mine (who’s a really graphic artist) created some album art for it and uploaded it to Instagram.

[2] And then yesterday Drake dropped another new track.



This song has been on constant rotation for me since yesterday morning.  It wasn’t too long before Kelvin put out not one, but 2 album art covers for the track.

Drake mentioned this a few weeks ago and hasn’t said anything else.  I need some dates sir!
