You can say what you want about Drake’s rapping skills or even his acting ones, but you can’t say that the man doesn’t give back.
This past weekend Drake made a special trip down here to Houston visit a very special lady. Kennedy is a 15 year old high school freshman who isn’t doing too well in her battle with brain cancer…who also just so happens to be a huge Drake fan! Last week some of her classmates decided to give her the “high school in a day” experience and threw a prom and a mock-graduation in one day. They wanted to make sure Kennedy got to experience the things most high school students look forward to, and were able to succeed with just about every goal with the exception of having Drake there for the day of the prom.
One of the local news stations here, Disney owned ABC’s KTRK, picked up the story and after the segment aired the hashtag #DrakeforKen was trending and within days Drake was on his way down here.
He surprised Kennedy and her loved ones and proved yet again how great of a guy he is.

He came bearing gifts and hung out with Kennedy, her family and friends for the afternoon and even Instagrammed a few pictures from the day.

My prayers go out to Kennedy and her family and I hope that she continues to stay strong in her fight!
