I don’t know how I found Kate’s blog, but I’m happy I did. She witty and always has refreshing posts that I look forward to reading every time she posts. Hallelujah for Bloglovin’!
She published a questionnaire post last week and I thought that it would be a great way for you readers to get to know me better. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these and she had some pretty good questions so here we go!
I decided to answer the questions Kate did as well as the list of questions he had below her answers.
[1] Pens or pencils?
Pens!! I love the BIC Cristal pens and use them all the time at work and at home.
[2] What’s the last dream you remember having?
I don’t know if this is necessarily the last dream I had, but I remember having one about a friend I have in NY being down here in Texas with me and she was dating someone extremely wealthy. I texted her the morning after I had it and she guessed that spot on too!
[4] Are there any foods you hated as a kid that you like now?
Brussels sprouts! I could not stand them when I was younger and now I love it when my step-mom cooks them. I have to get her recipe one day.
[5] What’s your favorite part about where you live?
I love that there are still places in Houston that make it seem like a small town. It’s such a big city and it’s pretty easy to get caught up in it all, but then I remember that I can just get lost in a book at Hermann Park, go enjoy a live show at Miller Outdoor Theater or walk around Rice Village.
[6] Do you have siblings? If so, are you the oldest, youngest, or middle?
I’m the oldest of 4 siblings. I was going to post a picture of all of us, but the first one that came to mind is not a flattering one at all, and it’s also about a decade old.
[7] If you could have a talent that you don’t currently possess, what would it be?
Hmm. I would love to know how to play another instrument, maybe the piano or the guitar.
[8] What’s your favorite Disney princess movie?
Now? Frozen. I’ve seen that movie like 6 times and will probably watch it again this weekend.
[9] Do you prefer hot or iced tea?
Iced tea. And it has to be sweet.
[10] What’s your favorite thing about your blog?
Other than it being aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, I love that it’s a safe place where I can go and vent talk about anything.
It starts to kind of cool down in Texas and I get to enjoy Friday Night Football. I’m going to be sad when my little brother graduates high school, it’ll be a few years until any of my younger cousins are old enough for me to cheer on their high school football team.
[13] Football or hockey?
Football. Hands down.
[14] Favorite TV show?
It’s hard to narrow it down to just one show.
[15] Flats or heels?
Flats, always flats.
[16] Best childhood memory?
A combination of Christmas mornings from age 5 to 10.
