I don’t know if it’s my age starting to show or if I just exhaust myself throughout the week, but I’m getting to the point now where I’m okay with spending a relaxing weekend at home. This past weekend I only ventured out on Friday evening to go see a movie, on Saturday to drop off my rent check and on Sunday to take out my trash. That’s it.
It was absolutely wonderful!!!
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie on Friday night. I went and saw ‘That Awkward Moment’ with my cousin and our friend and laughed my behind off!
It was cute and Zac & Michael B. Jordan looked amazing in it. Zac’s grown up to be very handsome and I’ve thought that Michael was cute since I saw him on the TV show version ‘Friday Night Lights’. I was kind of shocked when I given the Rated-R prompt when purchasing my ticket, not realizing why the movie was rated R but that all changed when the film started. There was a bit of profanity and Zac even wore what looked like a two foot long dildo for like 10 minutes in the movie. Yeah, he’s come a long way since his ‘High School Musical’ days.
I’ve been recovering from what I think was a sinus infection and my bed, liquids and medication were definitely my friends this weekend. I had alarms on my phone set for when it was time to re-medicate and I probably went through like a gallon of OJ and a 2-liter of ginger ale.
Speaking of OJ, did y’all see the meme someone made about how bad the Broncos did on Sunday?
Hahaha!!!!
There were also another one of Manning calling to Beyonce’ and asking her to hit the lights like they say she did last year after her performance.
These were actually more entertaining than the few minutes of the game that I actually watched. I’m not a fan of either team and Seattle wasn’t wearing their navy uniforms that I love so much so I didn’t watch much of the game. I watched enough to see that it was going to be a blowout and went back to Netflix. I did see some really cute commercials though.
Budweiser’s SB commercials always pull my heartstrings.
This little girl knows how to negotiate. Haha!
Tom Hiddleston? Yes.
I don’t feel bad for the Broncos for losing, their loss actually helped quite a few families here in Houston. The owner of one of the biggest furniture stores here bet that if Seattle won he’d pay for every customer’s furniture purchase over $6000 if it was delivered by at 5pm on game day. Let’s just say that he lost and lost big…like $7 million big. He didn’t even take out insurance for this bet, but then again he’s a generous man.
Did you guys watch the game? The commercials? Halftime show? Did any of y’all lose money on this game? I know Seattle was considered as the underdog team, but that was a blowout, right? No one expected that.
