Dating Chronicles: Are you looking for Prince Charming on this network?
I’m toying around with the idea of deleting my account with OkCupid. I’ve been on there for awhile and I’ve met a few decent guys on there, but I feel like the dynamic has changed in the recent months. Either the guys go straight for the physical stuff, they don’t make it past the initial grammar check, or I just don’t find their profile appealing. I will check out a guy’s profile before replying to their messages and sometimes when I don’t reply I get messages like “you don’t like what you see?” or “so you’re just not going to respond?”. No sir, I’m not. A couple of times I had some persistent guys who I had to write back and let them know “No, I don’t find anything appealing about you or your profile”. Too rude?
Then come the guys who start off great and then turn douche-y. Exhibit A: details have been removed to protect the (not so) innocent.
See, he starts off all sweet. Then it gets worse.

“Yeah, I’m one of those gym rats you hear”? Umm… Then assuming that I only cook ramen noodles?! Sir!! You just blew whatever chance you had.

I just stopped talking to him after that. Ugh! Please tell me it gets better.
Awww, Jaz! I think he's a little bad at conversations, but not a bad person. I kind of liked his attempt at flirtation!
