Another week down and I’m shocked it went by so fast!
1. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but this weather out here in Houston is crazy. We really don’t get snow here, but we do get ice. We also shut the city down when that happens. School districts are closed down and I’m currently working from home. There isn’t much better in life than working while in bed in yoga pants and drinking a nice mug of hot cocoa.
2. My body clock has been waking me up before the sun everyday and it was no different this morning. I was actually up at 3AM, but managed to go back to sleep. I had a random dream before I woke up again at 7 (perk of working from home, an extra 2 hours of sleep) in which I was at home in my bed with different linens and Drake was over being the gentleman he is. Is was lovely. I don’t know where that dream came from though, I wasn’t listening to or even thinking about the man before I went to sleep. Unless I was subconsciously still thinking about this IG post from earlier this week.
3. I hung out with my parents on Sunday and we went and saw ‘Lone Survivor’ and I’m ashamed to say that I cried more than my dad. That movie was really good! I knew what was coming, I mean from the title alone you could tell that only Mark Wahlberg’s character was going to survive but I wasn’t prepared to watch the rest of his unit die. I’m happy I went with my parents, I couldn’t imagine seeing that type of movie with anyone else. I even got some insight from my dad as to what was going on.
4. Want to know a perk of being in a wedding? Getting pictures from the bride weeks later. I looked good y’all!
5. I waited in queue for an hour and a half last Saturday for Maroon 5 tickets for myself and 3 friends. An hour and a half!!! Ugh!
I was on my phone and my computer, but no dice. I ended up getting a friend to go with me to Robin Thicke’s show and got a solo ticket for Maroon 5. As of now I’m going to see Usher with my friend Dara, Maroon 5 by myself and Robin Thicke with my friend Marc. Hopefully I get tickets to more shows. I wouldn’t mind going to see Hunter Hayes and Reba.
