I did some much needed shopping this weekend. I ordered some more skirts and dresses for work…and for play too. I also order some black tall boots like my brown ones, and did a bit of in store shopping on Sunday.
Victoria’s Secret was having their 7 for $26 sale and that was the perfect excuse for me to pick up some fun things and this weekend was also Sephora’s VIB 20% off sale. I haven’t reached that level yet, but one of my really good friends has and she was awesome enough to let me use her “friends” pass and I was able to scoop up something I’ve been debating on buying for the past year.
I’ve been on the fence about buying this for the past year. I’ve seen reviews and even know people who own one and they rave about it, I just didn’t know if I was ready to commit to the $125 cost of it. Well thanks to the 20% off pass I didn’t have to! I plan on doing a review post on it…actually a few of them. I’ll do one on my first day of use, after my first week of use and then again after my second week of use.
I also picked up a tube of OCC Lip Tar in Memento.
I first heard about this lip product on Tara’s IG account and have been meaning to try the line for a few months. I love the fact that it’s a long wear product and uber pigmented, I just don’t think this was the best color for me. When I put it on it was the same color as it was in the tube, but it didn’t look right on me. I looked like Tyrone Biggums with this on.
Not a good look y’all. I’ll probably take this color back and exchange it for a plum I was looking at.
I also picked up a bottle of Foam & Call body wash. I used that this morning and loved it! It has a slight hint of peppermint and it smells divine!!
There’s nothing wrong with spending a bit of money on yourself sometimes, right?
