I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it on this blog before, but I’m not renewing my lease when it comes time to. In fact, I plan on moving in February and am prepared to eat 2 months rent here if I have to. Hopefully they won’t make me though.
It’s nothing big, but a bunch of little things that have just become too much and I’ve already found a complex that I’ve fallen in love with. It helps that 2 of my best friends are also looking there. They’re looking to move a month sooner than me, but that’s okay. We went to visit the leasing office this past weekend and got a tour of the community and have basically made our decision. This community was already at the top of a short list of apartments I’d been looking at this tour sealed the deal. Of course I’m not going to put all my eggs in one basket, but I’m praying I can move in there in February.
I haven’t made any real furniture purchases since getting the apartment that I’m in now. Most of my furniture is either hand-me-down or purchased from family members so I’m looking forward to completely new things in February. I’ve had my eyes on a few things from Joss and Main and Overstock and wanted to share a few things on here.

I’m thinking about getting something like this instead of doing a gallery wall in the living room.
Or getting this since I’ve gotten so used to the built-in one I currently have in this apartment.

I think that I’ve just been so uninspired to do anything with this apartment because I knew that I wasn’t going to renew my lease, but I’m beyond excited about moving into my next place. Do you guys have any other suggestions where I should look for furniture pieces? I’m open for suggestions!
