I forgot to take a picture of my manicure last week, but it was another polish from the line that the polish I’m wearing this week is from. I don’t own many holographic polishes, in fact I think I only have these two China Glaze polishes.
This is ‘Don’t be a luna-tic’.
I’m not sure if it’s the top coat I’m using or if it’s me turning them into gel manicures, but they don’t look as holographic on my nails as I’ve seen the polishes look in other polish swatches.
I’m throwing it back to a song that always makes me smile, and not just because that’s the song title. I’m having a friend over tomorrow who I haven’t seen since I left Tyler and I’m really excited about seeing him. He was one of my really good friends in undergrad and I’m looking forward to catching up with him and seeing how life’s been treating him!
It's not you, it's totally the polish. I found that CG's newest holographic line was, for lack of a better word, sucky. I think they look more like a standard metallic rather than the "changing" kind of colour that should be in a holographic polish. They've had a few flops this year for me (the texture polish and "top coat changing the colour" ones were also fails, in my opinion) and it's been disappointing because China Glaze is usually better with their feature releases. That said, the blue really pops against your skin and looks fab!! 🙂
