This weekend I didn’t do much, it was a pretty chill weekend, I got to see my dad, stepmom, my sister and the kiddos and that’s always fun.
We went and celebrated my nephew and my dad’s birthdays at Pappadeux. Their birthdays are 3 days apart so I think we’re going to be doing dual celebrations for awhile.

My sister and I took the kids with us to go see ‘Now You See Me’ and I really enjoyed the movie!! I’m slowly making a dent in the list of movies I want to see this summer.
I came home and took out my braids and got up this morning to wash my hair after I let a deep conditioning treatment sit on it all night.
I haven’t seen my curls in so long! I’ve missed them. As much as I wanted to just do a wash-n-go, I knew that it wouldn’t last all week, so I twisted it up and did 2-strands. I just hope they’re dry by the morning.
It took about 9 hours to put the braids up so I knew that it was going to take me about half of that to take them down. I made use of that time by catching up on a few movies:
