My [slightly] eventful weekend

I had a lot planned for this weekend. I really did. But I guess plans change. I was going to get my hair braided on Saturday, which then turned to Sunday which then turned into this coming up weekend. That’s okay, as long as I have them done before Toronto. I took my polish off on Friday so I was due for a new mani on Saturday. I polished them at like noon, but for some reason they weren’t fully dried and smudged a bit at lunch. Thank God for glitter polishes. They always come through and save the day! I grabbed lunch with my friend Megan on Saturday at Barnaby’s in Midtown. If you guys haven’t eaten at this restaurant before, you should definitely go out and try it soon.

The atmosphere is great, the menu is full of healthy choices and if you go to the location I went to you might even see our waiter, Ryan. He had us in stitches the entire meal! I was going to go out on a bar crawl that night, but when I woke up from my nap I wasn’t feeling well so I had to raincheck it. I spent the evening in bed, but I got to watch a movie that’s been sitting on my DVR line-up for about 3 weeks.

I wasn’t sure if it was going to be good and I was tempted to turn it off abotu 20 minutes into it, but I’m happy I stuck it out. It turned out to be really funny.

I missed the kiddos something fierce on Sunday and wanted to take them the to see Monster’s University. That movie was so good!! Like good enough that I think I want to go see it again.

This weekend I found out that Target sells wedding gowns. Yes, wedding gowns. I know that y’all are probably thinking that I’m talking about the bridesmaids dresses they’ve been carrying for awhile, but I saw some bridal gowns on there.
