I went and saw the Saturday it opened…and I should’ve saved my money.
According to IMDB this is what it’s about:
“In a city rife with injustice, ex-cop Billy Taggart seeks redemption and revenge after being double-crossed and then framed by its most powerful figure: Mayor Nicholas Hostetler.”
I really expected so much more from these two. Mark tends to stick to action movies and that’s what I was expecting from this film, especially with Russell thrown into the mix. There wasn’t much action in this movie.
In fact, all the action scenes that are shown in the trailer are the only action scenes I remember in it. I was upset that they had a driving song like Kanye West’s “Power” as the song in the trailer of such a lackluster film.
It took almost an hour to build and ended on sort of an anti-climatic note.
Would I recommend it to my friends? Eh. I honestly give this move a C…C+ for a shirtless Mark in the first 10 minutes of it.
What can I say? I love the eye candy!
