This weekend, I went with my cousin Ari to College Station and watched Texas A&M demolish Arkansas on the field. It was a blow-out and the weather was terrible. We initially went up to tailgate, but ended up going inside the MSC to watch the game along with quite a few other fans.
This weekend, I GOT MY NEW PHONE!! I’m so excited!! It came in the mail on Friday and I didn’t get it until after I got back from St. Genevieve’s, but I stayed up until like 3AM setting it up and playing with it.
This weekend, I went out and celebrated a friend’s birthday. We went to St. Genevieve’s on Friday, this really swanky bar at Westheimer & Kirby. Chuck got to meet some more important people in my life and I got the nod of approval. That always makes me happy when that happens.
This weekend, I went to brunch. I woke up late on Sunday, well late for me anyway, and took my friend Rosa to one of my favorite brunch spots in town.
The food is uh-mazing and its really reasonably priced!
This weekend, I also went and had the most delicious burrito salad from Freebirds and saw this when I walked in.
I laughed for a solid minute.
This weekend, I didn’t go home. Not once. I got caught up spending time with loved ones and didn’t even think about until yesterday before the game. I had a dress at my cousin’s apartment so I really had no need to go home for work clothes.
This weekend, I went and on a dinner and movie date with some of my favorites. We went and ate sushi at one of our favorite places in Pearland, Kappa. Then we went and saw ‘Looper‘. That movie blew my mind. I was thinking on an Inception level for a moment and one particular scene threw me off, but afterward when a friend explained it to me I understood it better. I recommend it and give it a strong B+
I don't see a photo of something that you laughed for a solid minute in Freebirds, but I bet it was hilarious!
I'm headed to Mississippi this weekend to watch the Ole Miss/A&M game so I'll be thinking of you!
I need to try Free Birds again. I think it was too hyped up for me the first time.
I bet the game was so fun! My best friend is in school at A&M and I went down for game day last year….Kyle Field is quite the experience! Jealous!
